Feeding the Ducks

On Monday Ethan and I went to one of our favorite places... "The Park." We took a walk around the pond until we found these two:

And fed them until they could eat no more. They swam away and it didn't matter to Ethan, he was enjoying throwing the bread into the water.

As a little girl I spent countless days feeding the ducks in this very pond. While walking to the pond he said "Tub." I just laughed and laughed and laughed because Ethan thinks everything with water is "Tub."

Today I am thankful for Spring and all its beauty.

I think summer is on its way :)

Today we were outside doing some yard work and I heard what sounded like an Ice Cream Man. I have not seen one in a very long time, so I was not sure if it was the Ice Cream Man or what. So, I asked Brett "Is that the Ice Cream Man?" He said "Probably" So I grabbed a hand full of quarters and we headed to the street to flag Him down. I love living in a town where the Ice Cream Man still drives the streets.
These are the moments that I truly love being a mom. We got Ethan a push pop (something my Grandma would buy for me when I was little) and he loved every bite. He kept saying num a num (his way of yum a yum) and was willing to share a bite or two.

Today I am thankful for sticky messy moments like this.

Not so little anymore

Well today Ethan slept in his new bed for his nap. He loves his new bed and especially loves that he can climb on and off it so easily. I think its the cutes little toddler bed I've ever seen. It matches his crib. It has been so much fun seeing him go through his stages and become the little guy he is. It seems like yesterday that we put him in his crib for the first time. He's growing up too fast.

today I'm thankful for such a wonderful little boy.

Ethan loves Dad's hat

And silly Hats

My little Piano Player

Today I am thankful for music.

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter this year, SNOW and ALL. Ethan is so much fun and at the right age to understand what to do during the Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny hid a few eggs in the house and made a trail for Ethan to find his basket. He was so excited to find:
Mr. Potato head, a new Easter outfit (to bad it was to cold for shorts), a kite and lots of candy.

This year, he knew just what to do for the Easter Hunt.

A few days later all the snow melted so we went outside and played in the backyard in his new Easter outfit.

Today I am thankful for spring flowers.

Updates and Free Dates

Hello again... Its been a while since I've been here or even thought about posting. We've had a great last few weeks. It started on my BIRTHDAY. I use to hate my birthdays until I met this great guy who spoils me like crazy on my birthday. So this year, as usual, I felt like a little girl on Christmas Eve with excitement for MY day. In a nut shell... Market Street Grill, a few hours just Brett and I, pedicure kit, Calamity Jane, Dan In Real Life (two of my favorite movies), a new cookbook, These, a new birthstone necklace and spent some quality time with friends and family.

A week later we celebrated our Eighth Year Anniversary while attending Brett's last living Grandpa's funeral in Idaho. It wasn't what we had planned for in remembrance of that special day. But, by the end of the day, we found a few ways to remember that day. I love you Brett

Today I am thankful for celebrating Eight years with the Man I love
