Last Weekend

We got together with Ethan's birth mom Kirsten, her Mom and a Friend. We always have so much fun. Ethan loves to show off his toys and play with just about anyone. We met with Kirsten and her Dad a couple of weeks ago. We love the openness we have with them and love them so much.

THIS WEEKEND...
consists of much deep cleaning and many things/people to think about.

Today I am thankful for MANY things!

OUCH!!!

We have spent the past few weeks home together. Brett had surgery. He got his tonsils, adenoids and uvula removed. They even did a Turbinate Reduction in his nose.
I took him into the hospital and waited our turn. It seemed to take forever and then a nurse informed us that a little girl who had her tonsils removed bit her tongue and they had to go back into surgery to sew it back up. I felt so bad for her. I'm sure her tongue hurt worse than the tonsils. His surgery went well. After recovering from surgery they took him up to his room for the night. I went and picked up Ethan from Grandma's house. We went to the store and picked out a balloon went to see Daddy in the Hospital (Ethan say's Hospididable. It's so cute)

We are doing much better now. He can breath much better now. It's been two weeks so today and it looks like it will be another four weeks until Brett is feeling back to normal.

Today I am thankful He's starting to feel better. But mostly thankful his snoring has dramatically decreased. HA HA HA

Valentines Love

Valentines day is not for saying I love you, It's for saying I love us. I love who we are together, how we've grown. From our nervous conversations to the one we too have become. Valentines day is for taking the time to say I Love US.

Valentines Day was filled with all kinds of love, sugar love and time together. Ethan and I went to his Valentines party with his friends. We had so much fun putting our valentines together for his friends. He had a blast. We made Valentine boxes for our Valentine candy,
frosted cookies

and played games

His favorite game was Elefun. He loved trying to catch the butterflies.

After all the fun we headed home and had a special valentine lunch together.
Heart shaped Peanut Butter Sandwich. Does it get any better than that?

We made our famous sugar cookies

and even made one for Dad

Today I am thankful for Holidays like this.
