Last Minute Fall Trip - Catch Up

Last October we heard that Brett's Cousin was moving from Portland back to Utah and needed some help. Since it was during Fall Break, we packed up the kids and headed to Oregon to help them move. I have always wanted to go to Oregon, especially in the FALL. It was Absolutely Breathtaking. The Tress were beautiful in their fall colors. I fell in love with the Moss that grew everywhere. We took a day trip and took the boys to see the Portland LDS Temple.

Then we headed over to Multnomah Falls.

I am a huge fan of waterfalls. I've never seen one that was ugly :)

We hiked up to the bridge that is about half way up the waterfall. I was a nervous wreck. I was convinced that one of my Children would make one wrong step and go tumbling to their death. Yeah.... I'm that kind of mom.
My Dad served his mission in Oregon and told us a story about when He and his Companion hiked to the very top of the Multnomah Falls and sat with their legs dangling over the edge. I do not have my Dads sense of adventure.
Then we took the old highway that passes a bunch of beautiful falls. It was Beautiful.
Can you tell...... My Hair does nothing but go awkwardly wavy in Humidity.
